Wow your garden is beautiful! I live in Devon in the UK. It’s autumn here and we have a riot of colour in our farmhouse garden: sumac trees, maple, Boston ivy, hydrangeas drying out in faded blue, purple and pink. A wonderful time of year. I’m quite new to Substack and focus on art inspired by gardens and nature.
In awe of the color palette - so hard to predict how plants will look together and lining up bloom times. Especially loving the fall dahlias and roses!
That is beautiful and love the shaded planted area. Can picture sitting there with a good book. I live in a flat and would love a garden of my own but make do with planters and actually brought a orchid back to life. Was made up as made my oasis even more pleasant. Loving the tour. X
Oh my goodness, those are gorgeous selections. We went to London this past summer and spent one afternoon in Queen Mary's Rose Garden. If you have not been it is a bucket list-worthy spot!
